Dick Guttman, Publicist to Generations of Hollywood Stars, Dies at 93

Dick Guttman, the veteran Hollywood publicist whose clients included Barbra Streisand, Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman and Gary Cooper, died on September 19 in Los Altos, California. He was 93.

A Career Spanning Hollywood Eras

Over more than seven decades, Guttman represented stars from different generations of film and television. His client roster also included Audrey Hepburn, Natalie Wood, Elizabeth Taylor, Tony Curtis and William Shatner. He began his publicity career at Rogers & Cowan before establishing his own firms.
